Just a year later, at age 22, Don’s passion became a mission. He founded the club that would evolve through names like Valley Sky Divers and eventually become the modern Skydive Fargo. For nearly three decades, Don served as an instructor, mentoring newcomers to the sport he loved. His dedication was clear as he traveled the country to promote skydiving and became a proud member of organizations like the United States Parachute Association (USPA). Today, both the Don Solberg Foundation and the North Dakota Skydiving Museum exist to honor that legacy and continue supporting the club he built.
