Our Team
Megean Solberg | Founder
Following the establishment of the Don Solberg North Dakota Legacy Skydiving Foundation, Megean founded the North Dakota Skydiving Museum as the next step in honoring her father’s incredible impact on the sport. Driven by her father’s entrepreneurial spirit and vision, Megean feels he is still working through her to bring this project to life. This work has become a life-changing priority for her, allowing her to share the history of skydiving in North Dakota while celebrating what the sport has evolved into today.
Megean’s vision for the museum is a place where people can come to see the history and evolution of skydiving equipment, from parachutes to jumpsuits, and understand the legacy her father created. She also oversees the museum’s dual function as an active office for Skydive Fargo.
Donna Solberg | Director
Tyler Hasse / Board President
With extensive experience in facilities and maintenance management, Tyler is skilled at leading teams, coordinating projects, and finding efficient solutions to complex challenges. He is recognized for his ability to balance practical, hands-on problem solving with the strategic foresight required to maintain an environment that supports the museum’s mission and long-term sustainability.
Tyler’s leadership is rooted in reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating safe, functional, and welcoming spaces. His approach emphasizes teamwork, continuous improvement, and proactive planning, which have been key to his success in facilities operations.
Outside of work, Tyler is a dedicated supporter of North Dakota State Bison athletics and the Minnesota Vikings, bringing the same loyalty and enthusiasm to his teams as he does to his professional career.
David Groven / Board Vice President
I have been been volunteering at Bonanzavile for over ten years and in April, I have been on the board for 4 years. I’m also on the Goose River Heritage board for over 10 years. For the past 8 years, I have been on the church board as well. I have a lot of carpentry skills and I enjoy helping where I can.
Kate Licht / Aviation Director
Professionally, Kate is a Sales Representative at Spectrum Aeromed, where she helps equip aircraft used to transport critically ill and injured patients. She enjoys building relationships across the aviation community and is committed to inspiring the next generation to explore careers and opportunities in aviation.

✨ Skydiver of the Month: Jake Axell ✨
This month, we’re proud to recognize Jake Axell as our Skydiver of the Month!
With 10 years in the sport and more than 1,200 jumps, Jake has established himself as an accomplished and respected member of the skydiving community. As a PRO-rated skydiver and skilled skysurfer, he brings talent, dedication, and a passion for flight to every jump.
Jake’s accomplishments extend well beyond the drop zone. In 2025, he earned recognition as a multiple medalist at the Cloud Games, showcasing his competitive drive and exceptional abilities in the sky. His commitment to continually improving his skills and representing the sport at a high level is an inspiration to both new and experienced jumpers alike.
Whether he’s flying a skysurf board, competing at events, or sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with others, Jake embodies the adventure, professionalism, and camaraderie that make skydiving such an incredible community.
Congratulations, Jake, and thank you for everything you bring to the sport. We are honored to have you as part of our skydiving family and can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!
